About Gemma Harris (owner)

Born in Oxford, England, Gemma’s passion for travel & photography grew and developed during her teenage years. She travelled widely in Europe, Africa, North & South America and documented her travels, the people she met and the experiences en route.

A graduate of the University of Wales, Newport with a BA Hons. in Documentary Photography, Gemma left the UK in 2009 and followed her love of the great outdoors to Canada. Now the proud owner of Alpine Images, Gemma operates her gallery, studio & photographic business in beautiful Sun Peaks, British Columbia. Her professional career has taken her to places as diverse as Alaska, the Caribbean, North, South & Central America.

Throughout, her aim is to provide images that bring pleasure, preserve special memories and deliver outstanding quality.

About Zuzy Rocka (second photographer)

Since she can remember, Zuzy has always had a passion for all forms of art. Growing up in the interior of British Columbia, nature itself seemed to have sparked inspiration into her from the beginning. 

Being a self-taught illustrator and designer helped become the roots for her new found love . . . photography. She received her diploma from the Centre for Art and Technology in 2011 in Kelowna. Her photographs aim to hone a sense of emotion taken in the present that people can hold onto for years and years to come.
